PAARC is a 22-state consortium working together to develop next-generation K-12 assessments in English and Math. The PAARC determines the level of a student's proficiency towards the standards.

The purpose of the PAARC test is to measure the progress of students over time. The PAARC test covers reading, writing, mathematics and science in grades 3 through 5, and is aligned to the Common Core standards.  It is a performance based assessment involving extended tasks and application of concepts and skills. In addition to providing data regarding individual students, we are able to examine classroom, school, district and state results. This test is administered every spring.
