Technology is utilized to engage students in curricular activities in all content areas and to prepare them for the digital world of tomorrow. Students use technology to improve higher-order thinking skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity. Students use technology to think, learn and explore.

Teachers use many tools to incorporate technology into their learning, such as computer labs, a mobile laptop cart, classroom desktop computers, Promethean interactive whiteboards, iPads/iPods, documents cameras and digital cameras.

Students receive a minimum of 40 minutes of computer lab instruction per week. The National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) are utilized to inform instruction. All students and parents are required to sign an Acceptable Use Policy regarding the proper use of school technology.  This policy must be signed before students will be allowed to use any school or district technology equipment.

Our school employs a full-time Technology Coordinator.  For questions regarding our technology program, contact Lindsey Holtry at
